Hi, I'm Joan Edridge, a New Zealand artist born in Central Africa. Shaped by a deep love of nature, experiencing the raw beauty of life in a tough land, I lived through turbulence, uncertainty and personal loss in that harsh environment. Now I am honoured by the renewal and rejuvenation that nature offers.

In New Zealand, I've discovered a space to reconnect, with a sense of peace and mystery. My paintings weave realism with impressionism, blending intricate details with dreamlike worlds. Each piece is an expression of gratitude, a celebration of resilience and an outpouring of emotion to remind everyone that beauty often emerges from life's most unexpected chapters. Atmospheric elements blend with mighty mountains and lakes and lend a touch of drama to any wall.
